Confederation of African Football decided to reschedule the 2021 Africa Cup of nations (AFCON) third-place match.
The game was initially scheduled to be played on Sunday, February 5, 2022 in the afternoon few hours before the final itself.

However, the date and the kick off time have been changed by CAF after a discussions with Cameroon government and the Local Organizing Committee.
“After discussions with the Government of Cameroon and the Local Organizing Committee (LOC), the AFCON Organizing Committee has decided to reschedule the third place match initially scheduled on Sunday February 6 to Saturday February 5 at 7 p.m. GMT at Ahmadou Stadium Ahidjo “, CAF’s statement reads.
