While appearing in the Transformer Cadres Association Uganda delegates’ conference yesterday, Hon. Tibulihwa Harriet Ssali Abwooli, former Parliamentary contestant for Bugangaizi South in Kakumiro district as well the Bunyoro region Coordinator on the Association pressed a need for the unity within the NRM Party starting with the Cadres and those active in the NRM government.

Tibulihwa believes having stood solidly in consideration of all party members, the party will have a verge of living for decades.

Tibulihwa admitted that the Cadres Association is meant to unite all victims of NRM Party primaries and general elections, subscribing ideas for the development of their areas where the base.

She this will be effected by dashing to the grass root and correct issues of their electorates regardless of having slipped during the race then present them to the parliament because they also matter a lot to their electorates.

Tibulihwa informed that as Cadres, they are also pushing for the Presidential system of governance arguing that the Uganda’s Independent Electoral commission spends chunks of money during the election which would be used for development of the country and extend services to the people.

She adds that this would save the country from expenditure during elections as Ugandans will have chosen their representatives to present their consent on presidential elections.

Commenting on President’s denial of their Association, Tibulihwa argued that he was right because they had not fully registered it as well had no cabinet at the time but noted that they are designing plans of presenting the Association to the president for recognition.

To the people of Bunyoro Sub- Region which she coordinates on behalf of the Association, Tibulihwa promised her unceasing presence to them since she feels for them on the issues that need to be sorted.
