Following the continued fuel hikes across the country, Zimbabweans have taken to the streets to protest the doubling of the fuel price.

According to Local media reports, Protesters burnt tyres, and used boulders to barricade roads and block buses from carrying passengers.

President Emmerson Mnangagwa said the fuel price rise is aimed at tackling shortages caused by an increase in fuel use and “rampant” illegal trading.
