Finance Minister Matia Kasaija has gone through, an opposed to the 11th parliament as Buyanja county MP in Kibaale district.
This is after his independent opponent Paul Kyalimpa withdrew from the race according to his letter to the district registrar.
Kibaale district returning officer Aggrey James Ipeto has declared Kasija unopposed, according to the declaration letter dated 7th December 2020.
Kasaija has brought the total number of unopposed MPs into the 11th parliament to eight, all subscribing to ruling NRM.
