Three Chinese nationals have been isolated in Seeta-Mukono for
monitoring, shortly after returning from China as precautionary
measures, following the ministry directive on Coronavirus.The affected Chinese, all employees of China Star Company returned to the country recently.They
are part of 220 travellers who have been isolated in different parts of
the country. The move is a preventive measure against the spread of the

Malaysian health authorities on Thursday (Feb 13) confirmed a new coronavirus infection involving a woman from China, bringing the total number of confirmed cases in the country to 19.
Health director-general Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah said the 39-year-old
victim, who arrived from Wuhan, China, on Jan 25, is believed to be
linked to two other victims, also from Wuhan, who are being treated at
the isolation ward in the Kuala Lumpur Hospital.
The two others are her mother and a friend. They tested positive for the coronavirus on Feb 5 and Feb 7.

More 120 people have been isolated in different parts of Uganda after they were linked to the deadly coronavirus, a Ministry of Health official has said.
Emmanuel Ainbyoona, the ministry’s
spokesperson said that the people were not quarantined because they
showed no symptoms but were just asked to self-isolate for two weeks to
avoid any incidents.
“We have a thermal scanner and the moment one
arrives into immigration, it scans your temperature and if it is
raised, you are monitored and sometimes isolated within your place of
residence,” Ainebyoona said on Tuesday.
