KASESE DISTRICT, Uganda
A second person has died of Ebola in Uganda, two days after the government confirmed its first case of the virus in Kasese, a district bordering the Democratic of Republic of Congo.
The deceased 50, is the grandmother of a five year old boy who tested positive on Tuesday, but died on Wednesday while at the isolation unit where he was being treated.
The deceased woman who will be buried today is a wife to a Congolese man who also died of the same epidemic two weeks ago in Beni in the eastern Democratic of Congo.
Both the deceased had crossed to Uganda in a company of other five relatives who entered Uganda through the porous border.
A third patient with Ebola, remains in the isolation unit.
