Man suspected of causing Fire in South Africa dies

JOHANNESBURG, South Africa

A man who was suspected to have caused fire in a South African suburb of Alexandra Township, north of Johannesburg has died from injures obtained after suspected angry mobs attacked and brutally beat him.

According to police, the actual cause of the fire is not yet known.

However, residents believed it was arson and attacked a man who they thought was responsible.

The fire which broke on Thursday afternoon destroyed thousands worth of property, and left hundreds of men, women and children homeless.
