FDC opens a three days FDC Parliamentary Retreat

The FDC Party President the Hon. Eng. Patrick  Amuriat Oboi has today morning officially opened a three days FDC Parliamentary Retreat running under the theme; “11th Parliament; better legislation and enhanced Party growth”  at Namugongo-kyooto in Wakiso District. 

The retreat has brought together the FDC Members of Parliament elect of the 11th Parliament. Its aimed at Guiding and sharpening the FDC MPs to be effective legislators in the National Parliament; building their capacity in legislation and oversight  in committees and the Plenary and as well as setting the legislative agenda as FDC Parliamentary caucas for the next 5 years of the 11th Parliament. 

The Retreat is blessed with very experienced and competent Party leaders to build capacity of the FDC MPs;  Party President Hon.Eng. Patrick Amuriat,   Party National  Chairman Owek. Ambassador Wasswa Biriggwa,  former Leader of opposition, Rt. Hon. Phillip Wafula Oguttu,  Rukiga county MP Hon. Jack Sabiti, FDC National Vice Chairman Hon. Salaamu Musumba, FDC Party Vice President who also doubles as Busongora North MP Hon . William Mushabe Nzoghu,  FDC Secretary General who also doubles as the Budadiri West MP Hon. Nathan Nandala Mafabi,  and Dokolo District Woman MP Hon. Barbara Cecilia Atim Ogwal are present to share ideas with the Honourable members of Parliament.
