LAGOS, Nigeria

Internally displaced people in Nigeria’s north east have said that they have nothing to think about the upcoming presidential elections but only their means of survival.

The north east has faced constant conflicts with the terrorist group Boko Haram fighting the government in the last ten years.

More than seven million people in the region are in need of humanitarian assistance and almost two million forced to flee their homes.
