Hon. Elias Lukwago suggested that they are dragging Museveni to The Hague for crimes against humanity.

“We said 2019 would be a year of action. We have been doing a lot of talking but now it’s time to act, “said Lukwago.

Lukwago who gave the legalities involved indicting Museveni based on the Rome statute and the Ugandan domesticated ICC act of 2010.

Lukwago also in support of his arguments to indict Museveni, suggests that political instability in Uganda is rooted in constitutional instability.

However, people’s government also acknowledges that the process is going to be long before the ICC can commission an investigation since the charges have to be determined by the ICC to be crimes against humanity.

People’s government named some of the crimes which include among many; Mukura crimes, Lango, Acholi, Masaka, and Kasese attacks as well as the use of the military to attack MPs in parliament.
