Legendary music producer Kenny “Babyface” Edmonds, 62, is the latest star to come forward with Coronavirus.
He revealed his superstar daughter, Rihanna, 32, was able to get her hands on a ventilator “that he hadn’t used yet,” and shipped it to his home in the Caribbean.
He explained: ‘I have to say, “I love you so much, Robyn.”, a name which he still calls the pop-star.
‘She did so much for me. I appreciate everything she has done.’
Rihanna, real name Robyn Fenty, checked on him every day as he struggled with high fevers as a result of the coronavirus.
He said of his illness: ‘I got a fever up inside of my nose. I had a fever across my lips. It was just a lot of fever.
‘I feared the worst. I thought I was going to die, honestly.’
Ronald spent 14 days inside the Paragon Isolation Center in Barbados.
Despite sending the ventilator to Ronald’s home on the Caribbean Island of Barbados, Mr Fenty thankfully did not need to use it.
He was released from the Paragon Isolation Center after 14 days, having fully recovered from the virus.
There have been three deaths on Barbados due to the coronavirus so far, with Ronald being one of the few to have been infected.
He has now returned to the large St. James home that Rihanna purchased for him, where he resides with his beloved dogs, Ebony and Xena.
This follows after Rihanna through her Clara Lionel Foundation donated $5 million to the response efforts against the coronavirus.
The money will support “on-the-ground partners working on the frontlines of disaster response especially those focused on protecting and serving marginalized communities — helping the most vulnerable in the United States, the Caribbean and in Africa prepare for what is to come,” the foundation said in a statement.
