01/6 - Essential brain foods for kids
Right food can help you improve your memory, concentration, and brain function. The brain, like the rest of the body, absorbs nutrients from the food we eat. Therefore, it is very important for kids to consume highly-nutritious food which are brain-boosters. Dietician Vidhi Chawla suggests some:
02/6 - Oats/oatmeal
Oatmeal and oats are excellent sources of energy and "fuel" for the brain. They are high in fibre, which keeps kids satisfied and prevents them from snacking on junk food. They're also high in vitamins E, B complex, and zinc, which help kids' brains function at their best. Use any topping, such as apples, bananas, blueberries, or even almonds over it.

Covid-19 has profoundly impacted employees’ well-being. Recent employer surveys conducted by McKinsey’s Center for Societal Benefit through Healthcare show almost a third of employee respondents have reported anxiety over layoffs or furloughs since the start of the pandemic, 28% have reported burnout, and 21% and 20% have reported stress over childcare and the health of loved ones, respectively.
Though employed female respondents have been similarly likely to indicate that returning to work will have a negative impact on their mental health as their male counterparts, they are 12 percentage points more likely to report worry that they’ll have less flexibility to take breaks and set their own schedule upon return. And while most employers are aware that Covid-19 has strained the men...
The US congresswoman denies she drew ‘a moral comparison’ between the US, Israel, Hamas and the Taliban.
US congresswoman Ilhan Omar has hit back after a rare rebuke from her Democratic Party colleagues over her remarks that seemed to place the United States and Israel in the same category as the Palestinian resistance group Hamas and the Afghan armed group Taliban.
The Muslim American congresswoman on Monday tweeted: “We have seen unthinkable atrocities committed by the US, Hamas, Israel, Afghanistan, and the Taliban”, drawing bipartisan condemnation and even seeing her accused of “anti-Semitism”.
“We must have the same level of accountability and justice for all victims of crimes against humanity,” she tweeted, along with a video of her questioning Secretary of State Antony...

The estimate was presented at a meeting on Monday of the Inter-Agency Standing Committee, comprising 18 U.N. and non-U.N. organizations.

Prime Minister Justin Trudeau calls the killing of four members of a Muslim family in Ontario a ‘terrorist attack’.
Montreal, Canada – Like so many others have done during the coronavirus pandemic, the Afzaal family was out for an evening walk. But on Sunday, as they waited to cross a street in London, Ontario, they were run down by a driver police say was motivated by anti-Muslim hate.
For members of Muslim communities across the country, the Islamophobic attack that killed four people, including a teenage girl, and seriously injured a nine-year-old boy, harkens back to painful memories of a deadly assault on a Quebec mosque more than four years ago.
It is also a sign that something is terribly wrong.
“The sentiment that I’m hearing across the board, and I think everybody...
