Enyimba FC have been drawn against Senegalese side Diambers FC in the second round of the preliminary round of the TotalEnergies CAF Confederation Cup. Enyimba was handed a widecard in the first round of the CAF Confederation Cup preliminary and Diambers’ victory against Guinean side Wakriya AC both teams will now co against each other. Diamber defeated Wakriya 3-0 in a one legged preliminary round due to the political unrest in the West African country. Zambian football coach Honor Janza has said he is honoured that the Confederation of African Football (CAF) has invited him to attend a CAF Instructors Course scheduled for Tanzania. The Zambian Elite CAF Instructor was reacting to the invitation he has received for the course which will run from September 6 to 21. In reaction, the former coach for Mbabane Swallows (Eswatini) said he was looking forward to the course.  “I am humbled with the recigniton that Caf has continued to uphold in me and the trust they have in me as a CAF instructor with this invitation again to attend a CAF instructors course in Tanzania,” he said. CAF postpones 2022 Africa Cup of Nations draw

The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has postponed the 2022 African Cup of Nations Draw due to logistical reasons related to the Covid-19 pandemic. The draw was initially planned for 25 June 2021. CAF confirmed that a new date will be announced in the due course. Already 31 countries have qualified for the next year’s tournament in Cameroon. One team still remains to qualify between Benin and Sierra Leone after their match was rescheduled for this month.
