The Ministry of Transport & Communications is pleased to announce that the official opening of the Kazungula Bridge & one stop border post facilities is scheduled for 10/5/2021. The construction of the bridge over the mighty Zambezi River, commenced in December 2014 and the final inspection was undertaken by the Minister of Transport and Communications, Honourable Thulagano Merafe Segokgo and his counterpart in Zambia, Minister for Infrastructure, Honourable Vincent Mwale in October 2020. The Ministry of Transport and Communications applauds its strategic partner in this development, the Republic of Zambia for the successful completion of this magnificent project. Counselling /Therapy (a)Tinnitus Retraining Therapy (TRT) - This method teaches an individual to teach the brain to learn to ignore tinnitus (habituation). This involves use of devices generating some kind of noise e.g. broadband noise to divert attention of the patient away from the tinnitus. It involves extensive assessment into the tinnitus effects. Concentration and relaxation techniques e.g. breathing exercises are incorporated to help reduce the anxiety. (b) Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT): It involves addressing the negative reactions to tinnitus by an individual. The Department of Meteorological Services (DMS) informs the public that during the period of May to July 2021 largely normal with a tendency to below-normal temperatures are likely to occur over the extreme north of the country whilst normal to above normal temperatures are expected over the rest of the country. Accordingly: • Temperatures over the extreme northern parts of the country (Northern Ngamiland and Chobe) are expected to be largely normal with a tendency to below. • Temperatures over Southern Ngamiland and northern parts of the Central Districts are expected to be normal with a tendency to above.
