A Caitlyn Jenner Halloween costume sold on Amazon has been condemned by charities for mocking transgender people.

The “I am Cait” costume sells for £26.52 and includes a wig, USA sports top with Jenner’s Olympic number on the front, blue shorts and two plastic medals.

The product caption says: “Show your love for Caitlyn Jenner with this awesome adult costume!”

Popularly known in the keeping up with the Kardashian as Bruce Jenner, the 68 year old now Caitlyn Jenner, won Olympic gold in the men’s decathlon in 1976.

Just a year after his split from wife Kris Jenner in 2014, he announced he was becoming a woman.

Jenner’s new identity as Caitlyn was revealed in a July 2015 Vanity Fair cover story.

Transgender charities have called for the costume’s immediate removal, saying it mocks those who are born in the wrong body.

A spokesman for Stonewall said: “This is a reminder of how much is left to do to combat the abuse trans people face every day.
