Patrick Salvado has spoken out about his wife, Daphine Frankstock, and her life in Canada, revealing that she is happy and doing well despite past speculation.
In late 2024, rumors circulated that Daphine had left Salvado and their children behind in search of greener pastures abroad.
However, Salvado has now clarified that the decision for her to relocate was mutual and rooted in personal fulfilment rather than marital woes.
Greener pastures doesn’t mean wherever you are is okay. I might be doing very well here but my wife wasn’t. She was missing something in her.
The comedian admitted that his popularity in Uganda unintentionally limited Daphne’s chances of securing employment locally.
I failed to get my wife a job here because employers were scared I would air them if they mistreated her because of my popularity. I became more of a burden and this blocked her opportunities.
With encouragement from Salvado’s sisters who are already abroad, Daphne decided to move to Canada, a decision that the family fully supported. Salvado says the relocation has brought peace and stability to their marriage.
She’s doing well, very happy, and the marital problems we had are no more. We are very okay.
