  • At least three Palestinian journalists among 14 people killed in Israeli attack on southern Gaza hospital.
  • Doctors say there’s little they can do to stop children dying of starvation from the Israeli-engineered famine in Gaza.
  • The long list of media casualties in Israel’s war on Gaza

As we’ve been reporting, several journalists are among the victims of an Israeli attack on the roof of Nasser Hospital.

Their casualties add to the growing number of media workers targeted and killed during the war – at least 240, according to the Gaza Government Media Office.

The total includes many Al Jazeera journalists, among them correspondent Anas al-Sharif, who were killed in an Israeli attack on al-Shifa Hospital two weeks ago.

Rights groups have roundly condemned Israel’s targeting of journalists in Gaza, where reporters face more danger than anywhere else in the world.

“No conflict in modern history has seen a higher number of journalists killed than Israel’s genocide against Palestinians in the Gaza Strip,” says Amnesty International.

    • Why are Palestinian journalists reporting from hospitals?

      Reporting from Deir el-Balah, Gaza

I’m one of the Palestinian journalists reporting from hospitals.

We are in a two-year war where we have been deprived of electricity and internet so Palestinian journalists are using these services at hospitals to continue reporting.

We have always following the wounded Palestinians, funeral, malnutrition cases as these are always transfered to hospitals.

That is why Palestinian journalists are making hospitals their base and end up being targeted.
