Newly elected members of the National Executive Committee of the opposition political party, the Democratic Front, have officially been sworn in to assume their offices and responsibilities.



















The swearing-in ceremony took place at the party headquarters in Namirembe.
The Party President and Nyendo-Mukungwe legislator, Mathias Mpuuga Nsamba, led the ceremony.
All DF NEC members of the party took a solemn oath, pledging to faithfully discharge their duties, uphold the party’s constitution, principles, and values, promote Uganda’s transformation into a democratic and just society, resist authoritarianism, corruption, and exploitation, and conduct themselves with integrity, humility, and accountability.
The newly sworn-in Party President, Mathias Mpuuga Nsamba, urged the newly sworn-in leaders to summon all their courage and overcome all forms of cowardice to uphold the party’s core values, mission, and obligations to create a better country.
