Paul Pogba’s wait is finally over! Monaco confirm free transfer as ex-Man Utd star looks to get career back on track following doping ban misery.
Since the ban was lifted, Pogba has been linked with a move to multiple clubs, including Ligue 1 side Marseille. He was also tipped to move to the MLS or the Saudi Pro League, while many encouraged him to return to United. Ultimately, it was Monaco who secured the transfer for the experienced French star.

The official statement from the French giants read: “Monaco is pleased to announce the arrival of Paul Pogba. The French world champion has signed a two-year contract with the Principality club until June 30, 2027.”
After reports emerged that Pogba is heading to Monaco, France captain and Real Madrid star Kylian Mbappe had sent out a message for the 32-year-old as he gave a rallying cry in the local Monegasque dialect, which translated to: “Pogback. Let’s go, Monaco”.

Pogba is now set to revive his career with Monaco. The 2018 World Cup winner will likely be able to take part in the Ligue 1 side’s pre-season and start the season normally if he is fit.
