Excitement as nominations continue at the NRM Electoral Commission

Dr Tanga odoi – President Museveni will be NRM ‘s Sole candidate for presidency in the 2026-2031 General Elections. President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni is expected to pick nomination papers this Saturday at the NRM Electoral Commission (EC) offices as he seeks to retain the positions of the NRM chairman and party presidential flag bearer in the 2026 elections.

The NRM EC Chairman, Dr Tanga Odoi, revealed Yesterday afternoon in a press conference.

“Like other candidates, the President and National Chairman of NRM will express interest and also pick nomination forms by himself,” Dr Tanga told journalists.
