Former Deputy Resident City Commissioner Rubaga division, Herbert Anderson Burora has apologized to Speaker Anita Among over his past mistakes, pledging his full support for her. Since we’re members of the same house madam,  i request that  we reconcile. There is no need of keeping our differences. Lets settle this and move forward. Therefore, i would like to apologise to you.

The former deputy RCC was part of the Kampala Region NRM delegation that was at Parliament yesterday to endorse Speaker Among for the position of Second National Vice Chairperson, Female.

Burora, last year, made comments on his social media page that the Speaker believed were detrimental and false.

Burora and Among have put their differences aside and forgiven each other

Burora was later suspended from the Office of the President and later chose to resign.

However, as both Burora and Speaker Among seek for elections in the forth coming NRM structures and the National Scene, each chose working together and out grow their bad blood.

Burora seeks to uproot Mr. Joel Ssenyonyi from Nakawa West while Speaker Among seeks to replace Rebecca Kadaga as the first National Female Vice Chairperson for the NRM Party.

Speaking at Parliament this weekend, Burora said, he had chosen a reconciliation path to which Speaker Among responded that she had forgiven him (Burora).

You will recall that this led to Buroro’s arrest and prosecution last year but it was revealed  yesterday  that the case was dropped by Speaker Among.

The two met face-to-face today at Parliament, while the Speaker was meeting with NRM delegates from Kampala, who endorsed her as the 2nd National Vice Chairperson (Women).
