Aston Villa are reportedly in the ‘front row’ for AC Milan utility man and US international Yunus Musah, who is expected to leave the San Siro this summer after two years at the club.

The versatile Musah is predominantly a midfielder but he has operated in all manner of positions while playing for the Rossoneri; he’s performed in a deeper midfield role, as more advanced, as a wing-back and as an outright winger across his 80 appearances at the club.

Musah, who excelled in Milan’s 3-1 win over Real Madrid at the Bernabeu in the Champions League group stages back in November, was born in New York but came to Arsenal’s academy when his family moved to London when he was nine years old. He spent seven years with the Gunners, before making the switch to Valencia in 2019.

Musah, 22, had four years in Spain at the Mestalla, and then Milan came calling in 2023. He represented England in four different age groups at youth level before committing to the USMNT in 2020, for who he has since run out 47 times – he scored his first international goal in a friendly against Panama last October.

Villa have now been credited with an interest. It appears as though Musah’s time in Milan will be up and he has admirers in Spain, but Villa are reportedly front of the queue and Musah is preparing to ‘pack his bags’ with England and the Premier League currently the likeliest destination.

Milan Live add that £20m will likely be enough to secure the services of the player, who still has three years left to run on his existing Milan contract. Loanee Joao Felix, a long-time Villa target, will also be leaving at the end of his temporary deal, as will Tammy Abraham, while another reported target, Fikayo Tomori, has interest from Germany.

The brilliant Aston Villa merchandise that every fan will want to own

Aston Villa fans can celebrate the end of the season and their love of all things claret and blue in style by getting their hands on some limited edition merchandise.

We’ve taken a look at a few products in the Villa store for those wishing to add a bit of class to their bedroom, homes or maybe a home bar?

These products are available for a limited time and have that wow factor that would be the envy of any supporter.

The first product we spotted is the wonderful Aston Villa ‘dream scene’ painting.

It depicts the greats of Villa past and present with the likes of Unai Emery sharing a conversation with Ron Saunders, and Peter Withe sharing a joke with Gareth Barry.

The brilliant dressing room scene is available on a 130 x 43cm canvas and comes with a souvenir booklet. There were only 150 of these made to commemorate Villa’s 150 year anniversary.

If you want a cheaper alternative, you could try the 90 x 60cm lithos print of the same scene, again with the booklet and a limited edition piece.

If you fancy a bit of fun and owning your very own Villa Park, you can with this construction model replica of the stadium.

Complete with club branding, this is fun to assemble and will be the perfect addition to your household or workplace.
