Mohamed Salah’s future at Liverpool continues to be a talking point as the season nears its conclusion. Salah’s contract is currently set to expire at the end of the current season and rumours have been swirling as to whether or not he will put pen to paper on an extension.
Liverpool and Salah’s representatives have been locked in talks over a new deal throughout the season. No breakthrough has been made on an extension, with just over two months to go until Salah’s current deal runs out at the end of June
Salah has scored 32 goals in all competitions for Liverpool this season and is leading the race for the Premier League’s Golden Boot award with 27 goals. It remains to be seen what will happen with Salah’s future over the next few months, and plenty has already been written and said about the Egyptian in recent days and weeks.

New contract claim
A report in Foot Mercato has claimed that Salah is on the verge of signing a new contract with Liverpool.
The report has also claimed that a two-year extension is ‘close’ to being agreed for Salah to extend his stay at Anfield.
