Former President Uhuru Kenyatta today attended a Thanksgiving mass at St. Joseph’s Cathedral in Meru County, celebrating the recent installation of Bishop Jackson Murugara as the Coadjutor Bishop of Meru. The event brought together congregants to honor Bishop Murugara’s new role, following his appointment by the Vatican. Prior to this position, Bishop Murugara served as the rector of the Consolata Shrine in Westlands, Nairobi.
Uhuru Kenyatta was accompanied by former Agriculture Cabinet Secretary Peter Munya, former Meru Woman Representative Florence Kajuju, and former Director of Criminal Investigations (DCI) George Kinoti.
