Works Ministry Commissioner Tibiwa Found Dead Mysteriously At Home

The Ministry of Works and Transport in Kampala is mourning the loss of one of its most dedicated civil servants, Ms. Rosemary Tibiwa, who passed away on February 1, 2025.

Ms Tibiwa served as the Commissioner for Transport Services and Infrastructure, a role in which she made significant contributions to Uganda’s transport sector.

In an official statement released on the X platform on Saturday, the Ministry of Works and Transport expressed deep sorrow over her passing, describing her as a long-serving and dedicated civil servant.

“The Family at the Ministry of Works and Transport with deep sorrow announce the passing of our long-serving and dedicated Civil Servant, Ms. Rosemary Tibiwa, Commissioner Transport Services and Infrastructure who departed this life today, 1st February 2025.”
