Liam Payne’s song with his sister Ruth Gibbins has leaked online, just one week after the 31-year-old singer tragically died after falling from a hotel balcony in Argentina.
Liam Payne’s fans have been left in tears after an emotional song he recorded with his sister before his tragic passing was leaked. The former One Direction heartthrob, who sadly died at 31 after a fall from his hotel suite in Argentina on October 16, collaborated with his sister Ruth Gibbins and Sam Pounds on the track ‘Do No Wrong’.
The song, with touching lyrics like “She can do no wrong and she’s in my arms/She’s a once in a lifetime love”, has gained extra poignancy as its cover art features a man with angel wings. Fans have been expressing their grief and admiration on the Remembering Liam Payne account on X, previously known as Twitter.
One fan lamented, “This would’ve been a banger. Oh how I wish to still have him here and to show him our love. I miss you Liam, so much.” Another added, “His unreleased music is so good and he was so excited to release it,” accompanied by a broken-hearted emoji. A third fan praised, “The perfect vocals! He was so talented. I just can’t put into words.”
Singer Sam also shared the song on his YouTube channel, urging fans: “Dear fans let this song ring louder than the bad reports going out on Liam’s name! Let’s let the music win! This is what Liam would want. Spread the love and spread the music!” reports the Mirror.
Fans in their hundreds gathered to pay tribute to Liam, following his tragic passing. A touching vigil was held at London’s Hyde Park where Directioners sang What Makes You Beautiful in unison. The mourners also brought posters, balloons and flowers as a mark of respect for the star. Liam’s sister Ruth, who has remained silent about her track with Liam, shared a heart-wrenching message on Instagram promising that Liam’s son, Bear, would always know how “incredible” he was.
