Kara’s ASKO has qualified for the second round of the CAF Champions League preliminaries. The Togolese Club beat CD Mongomo of Equatorial Guinea 1-0 on Sunday.
After a draw in the first leg in Equatorial Guinea, ASKO secured their qualification with a narrow victory at the Kégué stadium. The only goal was scored by Adam Musah in the 8th minute. Well served on the side, the striker, who arrived a few weeks ago from Doumbe de Mango, headed the ball into the back of the net.
ASKO will face Djoliba AC of Mali in the second preliminary round.
