Uganda’s top musician Mowzey Radio dies

Kampala, Uganda:

Ugandan musician Moses Sekibogo, commonly known as Mowzey Radio has died in Case hospital in Kampala on Thursday morning.

Mowzey who had just turned 34 years on 25 January,  was admitted after reportedly being beaten into com in a fight at De Bar in Kampala two weeks ago and has been receiving surgical operations after his head was badly hit.

Uganda’s President Yoweri Museveni earlier contributed $9,000 (Ug Sh.30m) towards Mose’s medications at case Hospital.

He was one of the main performers of the Ugandan music group Goodlyfe Crew with Chameleone’s brother Weasel, he released his first solo song, “Sweet Lady” when he was still in Leone Island.

He began as a backup singer along with Weasel, behind Jose Chameleone.  Following disagreements between Chameleone and the pair, they quit the group and formed Goodlyfe Crew. That group was success

He made music collaborations with musicians such as Rabadaba in Ability alongside Weasle, a song that was produced by Just Jose.
