Moses Basena Uganda’s tactician and care taker coach of the football National team has released a 26 man squad ahead of the CECAFA Senior challenge Cup starting on 3rd December in Nairobi, Kenya.
The Tactician is targeting to use the oldest tournament on the continent as a build up for 2018 CHAN Final in Morocco in January.
Tanzania based defender Juuko Murushid is the only foreign based player in the squad, the rest of players summoned are all local based.
According to reports training sessions will commence on Wednesday 29th November.
Uganda national side “The Cranes” is the defending Champion after lifting the trophy in the last Tourney in Ethiopia in 2015 following a 1:0 win over Rwanda in the final.
