LONDON, United Kingdom Control Risks, a specialist global risk consultancy has discovered that Sub - Saharan Africa suffers under a sharp rise in the number of Islamist Militant attacks. In its report "Changing Patterns in Terrorism and the Threat to Business," Control Risks, finds that the number of incidents rose from 317 in 2013 to 1,549 for the period April 2017 to April 2018. While some of the attacks are inspired by the so-called Islamic State (IS) that loses its grip in its Middle Eastern heartland, the drivers behind this rise in sub-Saharan Africa are more complex. ALI SABAH, DJIBOUTI The Prime Minister of the Federal Government of Somalia, Mr. Hassan Ali Khayre and his delegation in Djibouti have visited the Ali-cadde district of Ali Sabieh, Djibouti, where Somali refugees are residing. The refuges warmly welcomed the Prime Minister and his Delegation and took the opportunity to air out the challenges they are encountering in camps. The Prime Minister then took the plat form to encourage the refuges to work hard, and educate their children so that they can head back to their country and take part in the development process.
