Uganda Crickets emerge champions at the Division IV International Cricket Council (ICC) World Cricket League

Throughout the 10-day long championship held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia., Uganda won four and lost just one game to finish with 8 points and emerge champions of the Division IV International Cricket Council (ICC) World Cricket League (WCL) in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Six teams including Denmark, Vanuatu, Jersey, Bermuda, hosts Malaysia and Uganda took part. Uganda's only loss was to Malaysia - a nine-run loss in the opening game.

MOGADISHU, Somalia High officials of the Benadir Regional Administration have  donated some of the camps in the capital to hundreds of vulnerable populations. They expressed their concern over their condition, calling for urgent action to be taken. Government of Uganda signs Agreement for the Development of the Oil Refinery in Kabaale – Hoima District.

Kampala, Uganda In June 2017, Government of Uganda selected the Albertine Graben Refinery Consortium to negotiate the Project Framework Agreement (PFA) for the development of the oil refinery. The plan for the development of the refinery is in line with the Uganda National Oil and Gas Policy (2008) which provides for value addition and development of necessary infrastructure in the oil and gas sector. Government of Uganda’s entry into the Project Framework Agreement (PFA) with the Albertine Graben Refinery Consortium (AGRC) for the purposes of developing, designing, financing, construction, operation and maintenance of the oil refinery in Hoima district, marks a major milestone in the Country’s oil and gas sector.
