Kenya’s President Uhuru Kenyatta has held a meeting with the council and management of Kibabii University where he promised the institution a funding of Sh100 million to support its ongoing upgrades.
President Kenyatta, who is the chancellor of Kibabii University, was briefed on upgrades of programmes and infrastructure during the meeting at State House.
Council chairman, Dr Ernest Mwangi, and the Vice Chancellor, Prof Isaac Odeo, led the delegation.
They told the President that all programmes in the university were running well and the expansion of infrastructure was on course.
“We shall support the university with Sh100 million to equip a laboratory and to improve the institution’s water supply.” said the President
