SEOUL, South Korea.

President Donald Trump is in South Korea for an official visit on Tuesday, saying a solution must be found to the security threat posed by Pyongyang.

Trump, in the news conference, he elevated fears of the outburst of  World War 3, and  sited North Korea as a danger to people of South Korea and the world.

“We are prepared to do whatever was necessary to prevent the North Korean dictator from threatening lives,” He said, “We will together confront North Korea.”

We will be prepared to use our military capabilities.” Trump added.

Meanwhile, during the news conference Trump was asked about the extreme vetting for gun purchases. He said, “If you did what you’re suggesting, there would have been no difference three days ago and you might not have had that very brave person who happens to have a gun or a rifle in his trunk.”

Trump pushed back against the question, calling it a situation that probably shouldn’t be discussed too much and noted that he was in the heart of South Korea.

President Donald Trump says harsh gun laws would not have prevented a mass shooting at a south Texas church, arguing that more restrictions might have led to more casualties.

Earlier Trump supported gun control in US, before overturning his position to enter the Republican presidential primary, courted the National Rifle Association’s endorsement in 2016, however he became the first president in three decades to speak at the gun group’s annual convention early this year.
