Makerere University Researcher Dr Stella Nyanzi has been sent back to Luzira Prisons by a Kampala Court.
Nyanzi was further remanded to Luzira Prisons by the Buganda Road Chief Magistrate, James Eremye Mawanda. until May 10, 2017 pending hearing of her bail application tomorrow (Wednesday) by Justice Elizabeth Kabanda.
Nyanzi is facing two counts of cyber harassment and Computer misuse.
State Prosecution asked for Examination of Nyanzi mental status.
Nyanzi who was arrested early April is charged for insulting Uganda’s President Museveni using the Internet termed as misuse of the Computer.

Angry parents, guardians nearly fought the Police and School authorities for blocking them from entering Mother Majeri Preparatory School in Kirinya that gutted fire last night.
The parents had stormed the School to check on their children if they were not injured in the fire that burnt the School.
The Police said it was beyond midnight and were asked to come back this morning.
The parents were not convinced by Mr Mutebi Julius Nsubuga, the Mayor of Kira Municipality.They tasked him to explain about the Causalities that were seen in Ambulances being taken to different hospitals.
