GENEVA, SwitzerlandThe United Nations (UN) Human Rights monitors have documented what appear to be deliberate, ruthless and brutally violent attacks on civilians, particularly against women and children, by Government and aligned forces, as well as armed youth in parts of Unity State in South Sudan. A report issued Tuesday documents acts that constitute gross violations and abuses of international human rights and humanitarian law – that may amount to war crimes. The investigation has also identified three individuals who may bear the greatest responsibility for the violations committed. PRETORIA, South Africa The Deputy Minister of Trade and Industry Mr Bulelani Magwanishe will lead a business delegation to Angola on a Trade and Investment mission. The mission will take place from 16-21 July 2018. This follows a working visit by President Cyril Ramaphosa to Luanda, Angola in March, where he pronounced that South Africa will continue to work to increase cooperation with Angola at higher levels. According to Magwanishe, the mission grants the Department of Trade and Industry (the dti) with the prospect of continued economic collaboration and partnerships with African countries for the realisation of higher levels of industrialisation through sustainable trade and investment.
