The “German Pavilion” at the Dar es Salaam International Trade Fair gives German companies the opportunity to access the attractive Tanzanian market as well as the high-potential market of the entire East African Community. German know-how and technology can provide Tanzania with some of the best opportunities to fully develop its future industrial potential.
On 30th June the “German Pavilion” will open its doors also to the Tanzanian Press presenting innovation and the newest technology from Germany at Saba Saba Grounds. From 1st July to 7th July six German Companies will show opportunities for cooperation for industries as well as consumers from Tanzania.
German Chargé d’Affaires John Reyels has this message for the participating companies: “Come and discover Tanzania and its great economic potential in the coming years. Join this attractive market and be one of the drivers of change! I deeply believe that trade and investment will grow in the coming years to become a strong factor of Tanzanian-German cooperation”.
The growing importance of the Tanzanian economy during the last decades has led to the decision of the German Chamber of Commerce and Industry (AHK) to open a permanent office in Dar es Salaam this autumn which will support German and Tanzanian companies in doing business and access markets in both countries.
The pavilion will be open to visitors and the business community alike daily from 10am to 6pm offering general information and space for individual conversations and meetings.
